Good
ReplyDelete-At ease
-Moves, talks with passion
-doesnt read from slides
Bad
-Presenation not "ready to go"
-Strange slides
did well - seems very calm and collected, good use of hand gestures, pauses between sentences, paces back and forth, emphasizes key words and phrases, engages audience
ReplyDeletedid not do so well - confusing slides but they probably wouldn't be confusing if we could hear him so he pretty much nailed it
Good
ReplyDelete-Calm movement
-Anything he said came from his head
Bad
-Slides seemed a little bare
Good
ReplyDelete- Hand gesture
- Walks in a steady pace
- Eye contact with the audience
- Doesn't read from slides
Bad
- Slides don't include enough
- Looks at his watch
I think this was probably a good speech because he received a standing ovation at the end. It appeared that he a had a good speech presence and took his time. He included effective visuals, calm composure, and good stage presence.
ReplyDeleteThe speaker uses hand motions/signals whenever he is talking. He also refers to his visuals but doesn't stare at them for too long. Another thing I noticed was that he walks around the stage very confidently and commands the attention of the audience. He also smiles/laughs a little bit to ease the tension in the room.
ReplyDelete+
ReplyDeleteHe didn't rely too much on slides.
He had some gestures, and he walked from one side to the other side of the stage.

His slides didn't interest me.
The speaker did a good job of moving around and using his hands to get his point across. Also, the audience reacted very well to what he was saying. He seemed to be speaking clearly and passionately.
ReplyDeleteGood- gestures emphasized his points, keeps his body language open, his powerpoint wasnt used as a crutch, walked with purpose
ReplyDeleteBad- even though the rest of his body was moving, his face was not always animated
things he did well include
ReplyDeleteWalking at appropriate times
Well use of hand motions
Was able to keep the audiences attention
He uses his slides effectively
I couldn't find anything he did poorly
1. good-i think he was educated on what he was talking about, he did not read from the slides and it seemed like he was very into the topic.
ReplyDelete2. bad-didnt really enjoy his visuals
3. overall, it was good speech. he got his audience involved and seemed very knowledgeable of the topic.
Good: confident, not stagnant, uses hand movements, talks to entire audience, got audience into it by making them laugh, and uses hands to show examples (count).
ReplyDeleteBad: seems like he didn't rehearse it, almost moves around too much, kind of awkward, and checks watch.
Overall, it seems like it was a good speech. This man had the audience involved, he was making them laugh and got a standing ovation. All these things were probably due to his confidence and use of his hands and the stage. This man looks like he has given plenty of speeches.
Good:
ReplyDelete1. He looked up at the audience the whole time
2. Had one word up on the powerpoint
3. Made the audience interested (they were laughing)
4. Dressed nice
Bad:
1. He could have had a visual on his powerpoint
Overall this speech was very well done because he grabbed the audience and engaged them. Also he uses his hands to make gestures to support his speech.
What the speaker did well:
ReplyDelete1. Good hand gestures
2. Did not read from note cards or outline
3. Kept the audience engaged and laughing
4. Walked around, kept moving
What the speaker did not do well:
1. He had very vague slides
Overall I think it was a really good speech, the audience seemed very interested and entertained by what he was saying.
good: powerful gesture makes audience to pay attention
ReplyDeletenot good: few slides
Good Aspects: Looks around to all areas of the audience, good hand gestures, uses the space provided onstage to walk around, does not look at his presentation often, he got a standing ovation
ReplyDeleteBad Aspects: could have had a better visual aid, but the speech was really good
without audio:
ReplyDeletedid well: his slides had very few words, he managed to keep the audiences attention by making them laugh
did not so well: felt rushed,
it looks like a good speech, he got a standing ovation at the end so he had to have done well.
